SOL is a modern and sustainable community located 3 miles East of downtown.  The homes are 100% electric and capable of achieving Net Zero energy – meaning they can produce as much energy as they consume.

GNDC provided sliding scale down payment assistance to six home buyers in the SOL community.  Home buyers have  incomes ranging from 40% to 80% of the Austin Area Median Family Income.  GNDC has eight rental units in operation at SOL that serves households with incomes between 30%-60% of the Austin Area Median Family Income.
